Healthy Flavors
A short clip from the completely redesigned Healthy Flavors. Upgraded from live-to-tape over FireWire to DVCAM, the current show uses three full-raster XDCAM camcorders, HD-SDI mixers and direct to ProRes 422 hard-drive recording on the editing machine. This last step alone saved over $20,000 in equipment costs and spurred them to add a second, mobile capture suite that would serve as a second edit suite 90% of the time. Both the producers and the sponsors are elated by the tactile visual quality of the new shows… and happy sponsors are a very good thing.

Corporate Work
One of the big challenges with corporate work is directing non-professional talent. Internal communications budgets tighten and the “solution” is to use employees of the company as “actors.” As a talented director, and a savvy editor, Anthony has ensured that non-professional talent can walk away feeling good about what they’ve seen. He has enabled clients to stay under budget and achieve the results they desired. These clips demonstrate that the differences between professional and non-professional talent can be mitigated.

Flavors of America
This clip provides a behind-the-scenes look at the pioneering process Anthony used to get 60 episodes of Flavors of America into the editing rooms as soon as they were done shooting. He used direct-to-hard drive recording in 2000, when FireWire was limited to 13 MBps and 60 GB drives were the biggest you could get.
